About the event

Join us for this stunning walk in the Chilterns National Landscape.

8km walk along The Chiltern Way, south-east of Goring-on-Thames in the Oxfordshire countryside. The route takes us into the Hartslock Nature Reserve, a 41.8-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in a wooded area on the north bank of the River Thames. With incredible views over the river towards Whitchurch and Goring, the grassy slopes are home to rarities such as the monkey orchid, bee orchids and a rare hybrid of the monkey and lady orchid. This circular route continues along the river Thames back into Goring.
