About the event
This sensational route takes in the iconic 17th century brick and flint cottages, 12th century medieval church, St Mary The Virgin before heading up through the woodland with incredible views of the changing autumnal landscape.
Featuring deer, hundreds of pheasants, beech woods, farm tracks, sweeping views, huge ferns and orchards with plums, pears, apples and cherry trees.
Beautiful Hambleden has a rich cinematic history too, being the location for numerous big hit film and TV productions including 101 Dalmations, The Avengers, Sleepy Hollow and Midsomer Murders, to name a few!
We expect the walk to take 2 hours 15 minutes, including pause points along the way.
Finishing at The Stag & Huntsman for coffees / refreshments in their warm, welcoming pub.
