About the event
Walk Works is 5 years old! Celebrate with us as we walk one of our favourite routes around Dunsden Green, on the outskirts of Reading and Henley. Join us for this delightful 5km circular route exploring Dunsden, home of renowned World War I poet Wilfred Owen, featuring Dunsen's attractive village green, undulating footpaths, fields, farmlands and fantastic views over Sonning and the Thames Valley.
Optional start point: 6pm from Clayfield Copse, (Reading's oldest nature reserve!) - then walking a gentle 1km through the woods to Loddon Brewery for the official start point at 6.30pm.
Buses to Clayfield Copse: 23 (Fraser Ave) 24/25 (Kiln Road)
Loddon Brewery is staying open late especially for us! Drinks & pizza optional extra, but highly recommended :)
