Who are Walk Works?

From Henley-on-Thames and Caversham to Reading and the wider Thames Valley, we lead walks through the Chiltern Hills, along the Ridgeway and beside the peaceful river trails of the Thames Path.

We connect people to nature and to each other.

With deep local knowledge and trusted community relationships, we don’t just follow footpaths. We take you to the views worth stopping for, the pubs worth booking, the farm shops worth browsing and the cafés you’ll want to return to.

This is walking done properly.

Why Walking Works

There’s something powerful about walking side by side. It opens conversation, clears the mind and creates space to properly switch off.

What Our Walkers Say

“Everyone knows the benefits of exercise, fresh air and meeting new people, and Walk Works does just that. For one hour every week, they lead us to beautiful corners of our town, and by the end everyone feels refreshed and ready for the afternoon.”
